Southwest Ireland – Tour at a Glance

A tour of Southwest Ireland is growing in popularity and in comparison to other parts of Ireland, it will require slightly less travel time.  We recommend flying into Cork (ORK) Airport as it is centrally located to what much of Southwest Ireland has to offer.  A typical tour will start by traveling to Killarney, which is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from the airport.  From there your group will have the option of staying in Limerick for several days as a more central location for playing Lahinch, Ballybunion and Trump International Doonbeg or selecting more frequent hotel changes (but much closer to each of thoses courses).  There is no right or wrong answer, it just depends on how much packing/unpacking each group is willing to do.  Take a look at a sample itinerary for this region of Ireland.
